Autumn is here and so are the countless varieties of orchard apples flooding into our local shops. From dusky greens to golden yellows, rosy pinks and vibrant reds – the humble apple is a beautiful thing. Larissa from The Linen Works is our in-house apple juicing enthusiast. Read on to see her apple juicing photos and recipe…

What better way to celebrate ‘Apple’ season than to make homemade apple juice? We know of a great little shop that sells orchard apples from rare apple trees planted over 20 years ago. We’re talking about The Hive Honey Shop on Northcote Road in London, have you been?

See below for apple photos from The Hive Honey Shop. For those who enjoy a very clear apple juice, Larissa recommends using a cold press juicer and straining it through a muslin cloth. Also, scroll down for our favourite apple juice recipes.

We would love to hear about the apples you’ve been getting or picking
